- England (1/5) and Argentina (1/6) are the heaviest favourites of the day; both have already secured passage.

- “Assessment” reflects price vs probability only — Short, Fair, Value or Long — and is not a tip to stake.
1. How to read this page {#how-to-read}
Odds are fractional (Irish primary), with the decimal in brackets, sourced from the OddsPortal 1X2 six-book aggregate as of 27 June. The Assessment column is the site’s standard Fair / Value / Short / Long read — a neutral judgement on whether the price looks fair for the implied probability, not a recommendation to bet. Kick-off times are converted to Irish Standard Time (IST = ET + 5h).

3. Group L deciders {#group-l}
3.1 Panama vs England {#panama-england}
England top Group L (four points, +2) and need only avoid defeat to be sure of the top two. Opta models give England a 78.5% win probability and 84.1% to win the group; Panama, already eliminated, sit at 8.9%. England’s expected-goals output of 6.72 across two games (41 shots) dwarfs Panama’s 1.86 xG and zero goals scored. Reece James is out with a hamstring issue and Bukayo Saka is doubtful (achilles management), but Declan Rice and Elliot Anderson are fit.
| Selection | Fractional | Decimal | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| England | 1/5 | 1.20 | Short |
| Draw | 8/1 | 9.10 | Long |
| Panama | 35/2 | 18.50 | Long |
A dedicated Panama vs England preview covers the team news and group permutations in full.
3.2 Croatia vs Ghana {#croatia-ghana}
A genuine winner-take-all. Ghana (four points, +1) go through with a win or draw; Croatia (three points, −1) must win to advance automatically and otherwise rely on the best-third ranking. Neither defence has convinced — Croatia concede roughly 1.83 goals per game, Ghana 1.67 — and the sides have never met before. Joško Gvardiol returns for Croatia; Ghana’s goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi is a groin doubt.
| Selection | Fractional | Decimal | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Croatia | Evens | 2.00 | Fair |
| Draw | 9/4 | 3.27 | Fair |
| Ghana | 17/4 | 5.26 | Value |
4. Group K deciders {#group-k}
4.1 Colombia vs Portugal {#colombia-portugal}
The pick of the day. Both are through; the match decides the winner and seeding. Colombia (six points, +3) top the group, but Portugal (four points, +5) are marginally favoured here — Opta gives Portugal 51.6%, Colombia 23.9%, the draw 25.2% (a draw is enough for Colombia to finish first). Ronaldo’s side thrashed Uzbekistan 5-0 last time; Colombia edged DR Congo 1-0. Portugal’s squad is fit bar a Thomas Araújo doubt.
| Selection | Fractional | Decimal | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Colombia | 13/5 | 3.60 | Fair |
| Draw | 3/1 | 3.96 | Fair |
| Portugal | 23/20 | 2.15 | Short |
4.2 DR Congo vs Uzbekistan {#drcongo-uzbekistan}
A dead rubber for the top two, but DR Congo (one point, −1) can still reach best-third contention with a win. Uzbekistan (no points, −7) are eliminated and would need a heavy victory simply to dent that goal difference. DR Congo are favoured at 7/10.
| Selection | Fractional | Decimal | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| DR Congo | 7/10 | 1.70 | Short |
| Draw | 10/3 | 4.30 | Fair |
| Uzbekistan | 5/1 | 5.95 | Long |
5. Group J deciders {#group-j}
5.1 Algeria vs Austria {#algeria-austria}
A straight duel for second behind Argentina. Austria (three points, level GD) advance with a win or a draw on the better goal difference; Algeria (three points, −2) must win. The market just favours the draw at 11/8, with Austria (2/1) preferred to Algeria (10/3) on the win.
| Selection | Fractional | Decimal | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Algeria | 10/3 | 4.28 | Fair |
| Draw | 11/8 | 2.35 | Fair |
| Austria | 2/1 | 3.07 | Value |
5.2 Jordan vs Argentina {#jordan-argentina}
Argentina (six points, +5) have already won the group; Jordan are out. Lionel Messi has scored all five of Argentina’s goals so far, but Scaloni is expected to rotate, with Messi reportedly set to start on the bench and Cristian Romero unavailable. Even rotated, Argentina are 1/6 favourites.
| Selection | Fractional | Decimal | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jordan | 21/1 | 22.00 | Long |
| Draw | 9/1 | 9.95 | Long |
| Argentina | 1/6 | 1.18 | Short |
